Oud Brûlant | Scented Candle

A bougie parfumée with decadent cedar wood, a mesmerizing grip of animalic suede, and dazzling Musk, a signature of Olfa Originals. The dark-brown resin, known as agarwood, or Oud infused in soy wax, comes with a hand-calligraphed scroll and matchbox. 

Oud Brulant transports you to the romantic gazal mehfils unfurling Kashmir. The candle is almost a riot of pleasant and therapeutic scents. It begins with the majestic prince of citrus (Bergamot), and herbaceous thyme that travel from the alpine valley of Yusmarg. The dilkhush Shikaras at the Pari Mehal Gardens radiate poetic heritage and cedarwood's scent. As you leave behind the yaarbals (river ghats), you inbreathe the fragrant hee-posh (jasmine), the belle of India. At last, you experience the graceful aroma of autumn in the Karewas of Pampore, the saffron, the legacy of Sufi saints Khwaja Masood Wali and Hazrat Sheikh Sharif-ud-Din. From here, as the head, and heart align, there is picturesque sukoon (calm).

CANDLE CARE

• Trim ¼” of the wick every 4 hours of candle burning. 
• Ensure first light is spread across the entire wax. 
• Ensure the wick is in the center to avoid tunneling. 
• Avoid moving the candle to prevent the liquid wax from sedimenting unevenly. 
• Avoid blowing the candle.  
• Reuse the glass jars.
